Patricia brings an artistic flair and keen eye to all her endeavors. Where ever she may be found; designing and collaborating on a play or opera, fashioning costumes that accent a dancer’s movement painting in her Soho apartment, decorating a high profile client’s apartment, accessorizing elegant evening gowns for a soap opera, developing the “look and style” for a performer or musician, shopping for the perfect outfit to “craft an image” for one of her numerous business clients, discovering the ideal fabric to accent a client’s new home, or creating “character through clothes” on a feature film…

Patricia Sarnataro has lived in New York City her entire life and has studied at Parson’s School of Design, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and the New York Academy of Art. Additionally, she graduated from NYU’s renowned Graduate Theatre Design Program at Tisch School of the Arts. Her unique educational background enables her to blend a distinctive sense of fashion with her talents as an accomplished costume designer and painter. She has worked on Broadway alongside many Tony Award winning designers such as Patricia Zipprodt and Willa Kim. Trish combines over 25 years of experience as a costume designer in theatre, dance, opera, commercials, television and film to “create a look” for each and every person--from actor to corporate executive to performance artist. She brings this same sensitivity to her clients needs when designing and decorating homes

Professional credits include: the Broadway productions of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Dangerous Games and Grease with Rosie O’Donnell; The Good Bye Girl with Donna McKechnie at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre; Suddenly Next Summer and Salome at Circle in the Square; productions for Lincoln Center, Dance Theatre of Harlem, New York City Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Washington Opera; feature films such as Red Betsey; corporate industrials for Disney, IBM, and Bristol-Myers; as well as commercials for pro-active, Nyquil, Sealtest , Norelco , excedrin,crest etc... at advertising agencies Price Waterhouse, Grey and DMB&B. she has also been seen on tv as a stylist for the popular make-over show Style Court for the “E” channel. Her interior designs have been published in Beautiful Homes.

Patricia’s true gift is her sensitivity and ability to see the particular uniqueness that everyone possesses. It is her desire to discover and bring out each person’s personal style.
